SURFSET Challenge Poses October 2015
/in Challenges/by SURFSET SingaporeIt’s October! For all of those who had set their alarms on 1st October – WAKE UP! September has ended!
Now that September’s ended, it’s time to get ourselves out of our mass hibernation and what better way than getting into some comfortably uncomfortable positions on an uncomfortably comfy SURFSET board!
Remember our tagline – everything is harder on the board!
This month’s Challenge Poses:
- Wave Runners
- Side Plank
- Reverse Plank
Remember – we’re always here to help if you want to attempt any of these poses! Or all. Preferably all.
New SURFSET Fitness Flyers
/in Challenges, News/by SURFSET SingaporeHave you seen our newest Surfset flyers with our new tagline?
Yep, everything is harder on the board. Or for the Instagram folks, you may also say #harderontheboard. As you can see, it features our instructor Shuyi in a seemingly impossible pose atop the board. Sometimes, the problem with our instructors is that their level of skills just makes everything look so easy. I can assure you – it’s not. Come try it out in our studio today!

/in Challenges/by SURFSET SingaporeIt’s September! *cue Green Day
But don’t go sleeping yet! Sleep is important for overall well-being, and we really do love a good night’s sleep, but to sleep an entire month just seems like a ludicrous notion. There are so many things to do! So many sights to see! So many things to get challenged by!
This month’s challenge poses are officially seeking challengers! Warriors and triangles, to be exact.
These yoga poses aren’t that complicated, but remember that everything is harder on the board. Read more
Lorna Jane LJ Fit Challenge with SURFSET Fitness
/in Events/by SURFSET SingaporeHad a great time with our Lorna Jane Fit Challengers! As part of the LJ Fit Challenge, SURFSET Fitness Singapore gamely hosted a challenge class for some LJ Fit ladies.
The LJ Fit Challenge is all about embracing active living. We thought – we’re pretty much proponents of that too! Working with activewear brands has always been intuitive for us, because while it’s important to be comfortable in our own skins, we also believe in the importance of being comfortable in our own clothes. Just like the little naps after hitting the snooze is the best sleep, snacking has gained a reverence among us as an oh-so-tasty forbidden fruit. Fear not! Here comes Made Real, a healthy snacking alternative. Their snack boxes are full of goodies that are sourced for good nutrition.
